Zentrumstage 2020: (Re)thinking Time and Temporalities in Peace and Conflict
This year, the Zentrumstage will take place on the topic "(Re)thinking Time and Temporalities in Peace and Conflict".
The conference participants will consider how time is constructed, experienced, applied and governed by actors in the realm of peace and conflict. Thinking about time and temporalities is central when studying conflict dynamics and peace processes, whether we are considering various ways of dealing with the past, the transformation of current conflict, or the development of future perspectives for peace. The aim of this conference is to deepen our understanding of these perspectives, further conceptualize time and temporalities and strengthen the important temporal focus in Peace and Conflict Studies.
Given the current Covid-19-related circumstances, the conference will take place online. The conference language is English.
